La fuite des intellectuels africains face à leurs responsabilités. C'est vrai, ils le disent d'ailleurs, ça ne va pas en Afrique. Mais, faut-il lâcher bride et croiser les bras? Assurément non! L'Afrique ne se développera à l'insu de ses fils et filles. Il faut serrer la seinture au-delà du dernier cran et travailler car, seul le travail libérera l'Afrique. ( lees verder)

To answer this question I first have to say that I often find it difficult to obey authority figures who I feel are not justified in terms of the ways they lead others. Yet, I strongly agree that we all need leadership but leaders should be chosen democratically and their methods should be open to public critique. Thus, a good leader is one who will listen to their followers and will effectively compromise with them in order to ensure a clear vision for her or his organization, country,... ( lees verder)

I am inspired by things like the "clean city" law in São Paulo that bans outdoor advertising. Not only because I think there is alot of advertising pollution around the world, but because it proves to me that a big change (that I previously would have thought that rich corportations could have stopped) can happen.
Like it has been said, people create change, and we are the people. I think there's a lot of power and inspiration in realising that. ( lees verder)
